GoldieBear is the Electro-Concept music project of producer and multi-instrumentalist Brando Kress.

Having originally graduated in 2009 with a degree in songwriting so he could further his musical theatre and film score composition, Brando would then create his folk project, Brando & The Waterfront and his Indie Synth-Pop band, Chateau d’if.

With GoldieBear, Brando afforded himself the freedom to not be confined to a single genre, nor how he expressed it live. GoldieBear songs and albums are meant to take the listener on a journey, often described as a “rollercoaster” as he drops you in and out of sounds and rhythms sometimes seamlessly and others, abrupt; all meant to take the body through a range of movement and the heart through a range of emotions.

With his Ableton Live sets, Brando freestyles musically using live and pre-recorded loops. Sometimes bringing along the love of his lives and ultimate freestyle wordsmith, Zandra.

His DJ sets are like his albums; taking the dance floor on a unique adventure every time.
