GoldieBear is the Electro-Concept music project of producer and multi-instrumentalist Brando Kress.

GoldieBear songs and albums take the listener on a journey, often described as a “rollercoaster” as he drops you in and out of sounds and rhythms sometimes seamlessly and others, abrupt; all meant to take the body through a range of movement and the heart through a symphony of emotions.

With his Ableton Live sets, Brando freestyles musically using live and pre-recorded loops — sometimes bringing along the love of his lives and ultimate freestyle wordsmith, Zandra.

His DJ sets are like his albums; taking the dance floor on a unique adventure every time.

Brando’s musical roots stretch well beyond electronic music. He graduated in 2009 with a degree in songwriting, originally intending to deepen his work in musical theatre and film-score composition. He went on to create the folk project Brando & The Waterfront and indie synth-pop band Chateau d’If.

GoldieBear is his latest evolution: a genre-bending electro-fantasy
